It is recognized that fluidized bed granulator is an organic combination of mechanical design and preparation technology . Therefore hundreds of Granulating machines either for China or oversea countries like USA, Japan, Indonesia, Iran and many other countries are specially designed in accordance with the material characteristics and process requirements.So far, we have manufactured ten specifications, a total of 150 kinds of models to meet the different requirements, these practical experiences are very beneficial to old customers or new clients in the future.

Descriptions of the main configurations of the plant:
Main set | round bottom, round top, and structural design of cold air door; made in stainless steel; roughness of internal walls with Ra≤0.5u , external walls is polished in matte finish. |
Draft fan | Special purpose-made fan, power 11kw, air volume: 3600M3 / h, wind pressure: 7000Pa; shock absorber installed on the fan; inlet port adopts flange type soft connection. |
Shock absorber | There is sucking disc for Shock absorber in fan, and cement foundation not required, which is easy to be installed on floor. At air entry side, a flange type soft connection is adopted. |
Air filter | Primary filter+ intermediate filter, quick-assembling structure design, which is easy to assemble & disassemble. |
Air heater | Adopting compound heater in stainless steel pipe and aluminum alloy fins, and the heat transferring efficiency is high. Meanwhile, adopting proportioning adjustment valve to control steam flow rate. The accuracy for temperature control is up to ±1℃,which can guarantee the constant temperature in the drying process. |

Work Principle
The powder granule in vessel (fluid bed) appears in a fluidized state. It is preheated and mixed with clean and heated air. At the same time the solution of adhesive agent is sprayed into the container. It makes some of the particles become granule that contains adhesive. Being of unceasing dry through hot air, the moisture in the granule is evaporated and the adhesive agent is solidified. The process is carried out continuously. Finally it forms ideal, uniform and porous granules.
Process technical features
Mixing, granulation and drying processes are completed in one step inside the machine;
The operation is safe because the anti-static filtering cloth-bag is applied for the bag filter.
By powder granulation process, the fluidity is improved and the dust leakage is reduced;
By powder granulation process, its solubility is improved,the prepared granules are instant , and granules are soluble, tablets are easy to disintegrate.
It's safe for operator if explosion takes place, because an explosion proof type pressure-releasing vent is set, as is described that turn to the Ex-type of Fluidized bed dryer, we set the explosion release vent on the machine. Once the explosion happened , the machine will release the explosion to outside automatically and safely, it will make/obtain a very safe condition to the operator.
For the process of loading material, we have choices such as vacuum feeding, lifting feeding, negative pneumatic-conveyance feeding and manual feeding for customer selection.
No dead corners. Therefore the loading and unloading are quick, and it can be washed clean, so it meets the requirements of GMP.
The degree of automation is further improved, and the operation is simple, so the stability of product quality can be effectively guaranteed. This machine adopts PLC automatic control, all the operation according to the requirements of the user to set the process parameters automatically, can print all the process parameters, the original record is true and reliable. In full compliance with the GMP requirement of pharmaceutical production.
In order to guarantee the stable quality, PLC automatic programming control mode is adopted, and working point flow chart with computerized dynamic display system for operation control; excellent operation control configurations guarantee the high reliability for plant’s movement and that the running parameters in the system will not be influenced by artificial and outside factors. The operation control principles are as below:
① For critical control points, we adopt imported electrical components, setting multiple interlocking and mutual interlocking;
② Digital instrument display, control for inlet and outlet temperature, over-temperature alarm; display , control and alarm of the temperature inside fluid bed;
③ Proportional adjustment valve realizes precise temperature control, whose accuracy reaches to ±1℃;
④ Differential pressure indicator for air distributor and filter;
⑤ Safe pressure-releasing: There equipped with an Expro. Membrane (venting channel) at the side, and once the pressure is excessively high inside of drying chamber,the membrane will be broken through and the high pressure will be released outside of the chamber;
For the machine, CIP and WIP is available, as is based on customer's choice.
It is particularly suitable for powder or granular material, and due to the drying time is short, and the relative velocity between material and hot air is big, therefore it is suitable for heat-sensitive material.
Drying capacity is high: due to the material is exerted by the wash-out, bumping, and omni-bearing drying by the hot air, thus specific surfacial area is enlarged, accordingly it strengthens the mass and heat transfer, and the drying capacity is high.
Efficiently controlled final moisture: generally the moisture of material can be controlled within a certain scope, plus free setting of drying time, through the united co-ordination with inlet and outlet temperature, finally the fluid bed drier can control the final moisture index.
The new and original pulse type duster: filtration core is made of stainless steel woven mesh screen specially. This kind of corrugated filtration core possesses: big air-ventilating amount, high filtration efficiency, easy washing, a strong replacibility, good performance of anti-static and high-temperature resistance.
Obtaining environmental protection standard: the system runs in a sealed and negative pressure situation, which avoids dust flying out; meanwhile there is no dead corners for cleaning and washing, either there is no intersecting contamination, therefore the potential risk of contaminating the operation environment is eliminated.
Low labor intensity: according to different material, different methods for feeding and discharging are adopted as to obtain automatic and continuous feeding and discharging.
