1.2085 is a 16% Cr die steel with good corrosion resistance due to the addition of chromium, in addition, quantitative sulfur improves machining response.
Grades delivered in the quenched and tempered condition have a fully bainitic martensitic microstructure and typical
This grade is not suitable for highly polished or etched surfaces.

• Round bar / Wire rod (Diameter): 5.5mm to 800mm
• Square bar / Flat bar: 3mm to 800mm
• Forging piece: stepped shafts with flanks / discs /tubes /slugs /donuts /cubes /other different shapes based on OEM.
• Heavy/middle plate via hot rolled: T6 - 200mm X W10 - 1500mm X L1000-12000mm
• Length: Fixed length or random length or based on the customer's special requirement.
