What is a seamless steel tube?
Seamless tubes are as defined – they do not have a welded seam. The tubing is manufactured through

an extrusion process where the tube is drawn from a solid stainless steel billet and extruded into a hollow

form.

What is stainless steel pipe used for?
Stainless Steel Pipe. Stainless steel pipe is primarily used in piping systems for the transport of fluids or gases.

We manufacture steel pipe from a steel alloy containing nickel as well as chromium, which give stainless steel its

corrosion-resistant properties.

Is 304 the same as 304L?

Type 304 and 304L have very similar chemical and mechanical properties. The only difference between them is the carbon content; the 304 stainless steel has a maximum range of carbon of 0.08% whereas the 304L has a maximum range of 0.03%. This range of carbon in the steel affects the corrosion resistance of the tanks.
