Description

Stainless Steel 316 Wire UNS S31600 / DIN1.4401/ AISI316 Wire

Introduction:

Stainless Steel 316 has slightly better corrosion resistance than 302 and 304, and also has better non-magnetic properties. Stainless Steel 316 shows excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance in a range of atmospheric environments and corrosive media. Stainless Steel 316 is also known as AISI 316.

SS 316 Wire has excellent forming and welding characteristics. Stainless Steel 316 Wire Available are following Specification, Grades and Size.

Type 316 is one of the most commonly used stainless steels, because it contains molybdenum, so corrosion resistance is better than 304. Hightop can provide annealed and cold-drawn 316 stainless steel wire with a wire diameter ranging from 0.002-0.125 inch (0.05-3.2 mm) in accordance with ASTM A478, mainly used for making stainless steel mesh, filter, screen and so on.

Features:

Better corrosion resistance and non-magnetic properties than 302 & 304 stainless.
Better pitting and crevice corrosion resistance than 302 & 304 stainless steel.
