Ferrochrome: According to the different carbon contents, ferrochrome can be divided into four types: high carbon, medium, low and extra low carbon ferrochromium. High carbon ferrochrome can be used as alloying agent for ball steel, tool steel and high speed steel with high carbon content. It can improve hardenability, wear resistance and hardness of steel. It can also be used as additive for cast iron to improve wear resistance and hardness of cast iron. At the same time, it can make cast iron have good heat resistance. Extra low carbon ferrochrome is suitable as alloying element additive in steelmaking.

Extra low carbon (ELC) Ferrochrome Powder: It can be applied to welding materials, such as, welding electrode and welding flux cored wire to increase the wear resistance.
