ASTM A270 304 SS Hydraulic Tubing 1 Inch X0.065 Inch surface roughness of stainless steel
SPEZILLA Offer ASTM A270 Sanitary stainless steel tubing as well sanitary stainless steel tube, meets A270 standards available in sanitary stainless steel AISI 316L, 304L or 304 from 1” to 4” sizes, inside roughness ( 32 μ'/0,8 μm ) Ra 180 grit; outside surface finishing ( 150 grit / Brushed ) acording A270. Upon Request Inside surface finishing ( 20 μ'/0,5 μm ) Ra. for ASME SA270 standards. To maintain clean standards tubes are packed individually in plastic sleeves and covered with plastic caps in both ends.
In pursuit of faster & more efficient production, innovation is both a business & a consumer obligation resnating through the Food & Beverage Industry. Spezilla stainless steel sanitary tubes is proud to be a leader in industrial innovation, which is reflected in our designs, production methods & technologies.
Available Sizes:
OD from 1/2'' to 8'' (12.7MM to 203.20MM)
Wall thickness: 0.065'' to 0.083'' (1.65MM to 2.11MM)
Length: 20ft ( 6100MM)
Materials Our sanitary tubing is available in alloys 304/304L and 316/316L. All 316/316L tube is supplied with a sulfur content of .005-.017% as specified in ASTM A270, Supp. S2.1.1. Available in A249, A269 and A270
Mechanical Tests Mechanical testing is in accordance with ASTM A450, which includes reverse bend, reverse flattening and flange tests. Eddy current tests are performed on 100% of the tube produced.
Surface Polish:
Surface finish is 20 u-in Ra (0.5um) ID maximum, 30 u-in Ra (0.8um) OD maximum surface roughness measured per ASME/ANSI B46.1 with the profilo-meter reading at 90 degree to the lay. Other finishes available upon request.
Various types of polishing operations are commonly used to reduce the surface roughness of stainless steel sanitary tubes used in fluid piping & related components. As the name implies, mechanical polishing involves the application of physical force on abrasive media to remove the irregularities.
Surface Roughness: Bright Annealed, Mill Finish is available for both ID/OD, Mechanical Polish, Electro Polish needs to specify either ID/OD.
