Types of Milling Machines at JYH

Vertical Milling: Vertical milling operation involves a drill press and tooling rotation that primarily works vertically. A typical vertical CNC milling machine has three axes where the tooling moves vertically.

Horizontal Milling: Horizontal and vertical milling machines have a similar principal function. However, horizontal milling involves tooling that spins horizontally. These two different milling machines use a similar type of tooling.

3-Axis CNC Milling: In 3-axis milling, the part remains motionless while the cutting tool mills along three different axes. 3-Axis milling machine applications include contoured shapes, hole features, and sharp edges.
