X46Cr13 material (DIN EN 1.4034 stainless steel) is a European EN standard martensitic stainless steel. It has good polishing and mechanical properties, but poor weldability. Due to its higher carbon content than 1.4031 (X39Cr13), the steel is harder than 1.4031. 1.4034 steel has good corrosion resistance in non-chloride media and weak organic acids and bases.
The following tables and lists give the stainless steel 1.4034 datasheet and specification including chemical composition, physical properties and mechanical properties, heat treatment, welding, etc.

DIN EN 1.4034 is not resistant to intergranular corrosion upon delivery. It has good corrosion resistance in non-chloride and acid-base environments; polished surface under tempered condition have good corrosion resistance; in order to maintain good corrosion resistance, it is not recommended to be used in annealed or high temperature conditions.
