Jib crane is a general light-tonnage lifting machinery.Wall-mounted jib crane and wall-travelling jib crane are two common type jib cranes,But here are some differences between them:

1.From concept :

Wall-mounted jib crane, also known as pilaster jib crane. It consists of a cantilever device and an electric hoist(or manual hoist is the same used). The cantilever arm is fixed on the wall or cement column and it can be rotated according to user needs. The slewing type is divided into manual slewing and electric slewing. The electric hoist is installed on the cantilever arm track for lifting heavy objects.

Wall-travelling jib crane is a new type of material lifting equipment developed on the basis of wall-mounted jib crane. This type jib crane can move longitudinally along the rail, and at the same time, the electric hoist can complete the hoisting along the horizontal or vertical direction of the cantilever arm.

Type: BB type High load cantilever jib crane

Lifting capacity: Up to 15ton

Arm length: 3.7~6.5m. Nonstandard design can also be caught out according your requirement.

Structure:

The hoist: traverses through the Ⅰ beam under the arm and lifts up and down;

The arm: mounted on the rails of the wall

Here are some main diffenences from wall-mounted jib crane:

1.From the scope of work :

Working scope of wall-mounted jib crane is a semi-circular with limited working range;but wall-travelling jib crane can travel along the rails so that having larger working range.

2. From structure:

The jib arm of wall-mounted jib crane could rotate but no moving; however the wall-travelling jib crane can travelling along the rails but no rotating.

3. From cost:

Because the wall-mounted jib crane is installed on the wall or cement column, the cost will be lower; the wall-travelling jib crane needs a special running track/rails, so the cost will be relatively high.

Product Application:

Wall-travelling jib crane is suitable for multi-station flow operations/assembly line,it does not require floor space,and uses rails installed on the wall to run along the rails to realize the lifting and unloading of work-pieces at multiple stations.Reduce the dependence of the station on the larger cranes in the workshop,reducing the waiting time and improving the work efficiency.
