Introduction of Rubber Bearing for Bridge:
The Rubber Bearing for Bridge also known as elastomeric bearings, are a critical component in modern bridge design. They are placed between the bridge superstructure (the deck and supporting beams) and the substructure (the piers and abutments) to allow for controlled movement and flexibility.
In the daily inspection and maintenance of the bridge rubber bearing, should check whether the various parts of the support are kept complete and clean, and the garbage, snow and ice around the support should be eliminated in time to ensure the normal operation of the support.
At the same time, the sewage and grease should be cleaned, and the water in the pier and cap should be removed in time.
Proper selection, installation, and maintenance of the rubber bearings is critical to ensuring the long-term safety, serviceability, and longevity of the bridge structure. Engineers carefully analyze factors like load capacity, movement requirements, and environmental conditions when specifying the appropriate rubber bearings for a given bridge.

The bearing capacity of Rubber Bearing for Bridge depends on the following three situations:
(1) The rubber itself is crushed or cut;
(2) the compression deformation and shear deformation of rubber exceed the allowable use;
(3) When the support (concrete, steel plate or other) is pulled off by the outward reverse horizontal shear force of rubber or the contact surface of the support and rubber slips off each other.
Features of Rubber Bearing for Bridge:
Load distribution: The basin shape helps distribute the vertical load from the bridge superstructure across a larger surface area of the rubber.
Stability: The curved design provides more stability and resistance to lateral movement compared to flat elastomeric bearings.
Durability: The basin configuration can better withstand the high compressive loads and shear forces experienced by bridge bearings over their lifetime.
Classification of Rubber Bearing for Bridges: round board type rectangular plate type
Scope of application: ordinary bridge rubber bearing is suitable for the span of less than 30 meters, small displacement of the bridge. Different plane shapes are suitable for different bridge spans, rectangular support for orthobridge; curved, diagonal and cylindrical piers.
Features of Rubber Bearing for Bridge: simple structure, low price, no maintenance
