Traffic Signal Mast Arms Supports

Traffic signal mast arm supports are comprised of a single support post and a single cantilever arm. Mast arm supports are made of steel, usually galvanized, and are primarily used to carry traffic signals, small regulatory signs, street name signs and street luminaires. The post base plate is anchored to the foundation with six anchor bolts embedded in a concrete foundation. The base plates rest on leveling nuts, creating a space between the base plate and the foundation. The mast arm is connected to the support post with six bolts or eight bolts. The bolts secure the arm base plate to the post connection plate. In some instances, an arm may have an extension at the end of it to get a longer length. These extensions are spliced with an overlap slip joint.

Material

Q235,Q345,Gr65 or as per client's requirement, in compliance with EU/ASTM standards and as per the project specifications.

Finishing

Shaft, Base plate, Arm Bracket and other accessories are hot dip galvanized according to BS EN 1461 and its updated revisions, the minimum average coating thickness is according to BS EN 1461, or as per the customer requirements,no more than 70 microns average.

No welding, cutting or drilling after galvanization.

The anchor bolts including nuts and washers are rough black or hot dip galvanised according to ASTM A 123 as per customized requirement.
