High Frequency Welding Fin Tube ASTM A106 GR.B For Radiant Coil
A carbon steel finned tube is a type of tube that increases the heat transfer area by adding fins to the outer surface of a carbon steel tube. This design significantly enhances heat transfer efficiency.
- Base Tube Material: Carbon steel tubes have good mechanical properties and low cost. Depending on the carbon content, carbon steel can be divided into low carbon steel, medium carbon steel, and high carbon steel.
- Fin Material: Typically the same as the base tube material to maintain continuous heat conduction.

2. High-Frequency Welding (HFW)
Welding Process: The principle of high-frequency induction heating is used to bring the contact surface between the base tube and the fins to a molten state, and then welding is achieved through pressure. Specifically, the skin effect produced by the high-frequency current passing through the pipe and the fins causes the current to concentrate on the surface of the conductor, rapidly heating the metal to a molten state. During this process, external pressure is applied to cause the molten metal to fuse and bond closely, forming a seamless connection.
