Studded Tube, ASME AS335 P9 Alloy Steel Seamless Pipe with 11Cr (SS409) Stud, Fired Heater, Furnace Application
ASTM A335 /ASME SA335 Gr. P9 Alloy Steel Studded Tubes are applied to convection chamber of heating furnace in petrochemical industry to increase the heat transfer coefficient at the fuming side. Studded Tubes are two or three times the square of light Tubes. Due to the usage of studded Tubes, the hot strength can be obtained as the same as radiation in the reasonable design. Studded tube is an integrated heat exchange part processed using power frequency contact type resistance welding and upsetting force fusion welding.

Advantage of ASME SA335 P9 Studded Tube (Studded Fin Tube) :
1>.Satisfying connection surface, little heat loss .
2>.Welding connection rate higher than 90 percent.
3>.No need of welding power, hardly any welding tumor .
4>.Narrow heated zone on the surface, no melted pool, without destroying the tissue of basic tube.
5>.Welding parameters are strictly set to ensure the quality of bulk studded tube and avoid the instability of manual operation
