The process of reducing the diameter of the reducer is to place a tube blank with the same diameter as the large and small ends into a forming die, and press the tube blank in the axial direction to make the metal move along the mold cavity and shrink into shape. According to the size of the reducer, it can be divided into one press forming or multiple press forming.
The big and small ends can be divided into two types: concentric reducing and eccentric reducing. After connecting the pipes with concentric reducing, the center of the circle is in a straight line, and after connecting the pipes with eccentric reducing, the center of the circle is not in a straight line.
