The insulation material of this cable is cross-linked polyethylene, which has a heat-resistance rating up to 90℃. Thus this product is excellent for applications requiring intensive heat resistance. It is categorized as flame retardant, heat-resistant, or environmentally friendly depending on its features.
During last 15-20 years the demand for cross-linked polyethylene insulated cable has expanded rapidly and this type of cable has become the main type for power cables.

Marking Examples:
Example 1:Copper-core PVC insulated and sheathed steel-tape armored 3+1 type, main core section is 50mm2 and that of neutral core is 25mm2, such power cable can be represented by: VV22 3X50+1X25

Working Condition
For general type, not over 70°C as the maximum
For 105°C flame-retardant material, not over 105°C as the maximum
For 135°C flame-retardant material, not over 135°C as the maximum
1. Lowest ambient temperature:-40°C for fixed laying,-20°C for non-fixed laying
2. Rated voltage U0/U:0.6/1kV, 3.6/6kV
3. Min.bending radius:not less than 10 times of outer diameter of cable if without armor, and not less than 15 times of cable outer diameter provided the cable is armored.
4. Short-circuit condition:The maximum temperature of cable conductor will not exceed 175°Cunder short- circuit condition(longest time of 5 seconds)
