Introduction
Two waves Cold Rolled highway guardrail roll Forming Machine
This equipment is primarily used in the repair of dented and warped guardrails. Repair is achieved by utilizing 7 rollers (9 rollers is available if you need) for rolling correction, multi-rolling straightening and auxiliary devices to repair damaged guardrails (not including inner strain and tears), to gradually eliminate dents, warping and other types of deformation making guardrails available for recycling and reuse. This guardrail repair straightening product is second generation and is presently the ideal highway maintenance device and the ideal device for use by machinery manufacturers given its stable performance, convenient control and it's bright economic prospects.
Guardrail Repair Process:
This equipment makes use of cold form shaping through a three gantry framed archway and a mold roller of shaft diameter 80mm through a mold produced from high quality steel. The entire guardrail’s mold shape and technical requirements are in compliance with national standards form 31085, Euro-American style crash barrier section size, (note, if entire sections of Japanese style guardrails are needed, only the mold needs to be exchanged, the mold can then correct the entire section). Damaged and deformed guardrails, after undergoing four roll reconstructions, are pushed into the back of the four roll straightening leveling system and the entire section is continuously extruded for the correction of warped deformations and finally passes completely through the system with dents removed and the rail leveled. By shape correction, guardrails may be returned to its original state and technical requirements resulting in satisfactory usage and economic benefits by users
Power and Transmission:
This device makes use of a 15-30KW main drive motor, coupled with JZQ-500 gear transmission to allocate each gear drive to a correction track and by usage of variable transmission speed, gives the system completely reasonable reliability. Also, the device is equipped with 2 meter long front and 4 meter long rear end benches, with a safety protection cover along the transmission gear line.
Usage
This device repairs warps and deformations of the 31085 guardrail (not including inner strain, tears or other serious damages) by passing it firstly through four multi-rollers for straightening to bend and twist different deformations back into their original shape, and performance for re-use. We adopt repair methods based on the classification of the damages. Guardrail repair is divided into two categories: heavy and light warping (visualization). The repairing of heavy warping must be repaired before four-point roll-straightening, the upper and lower rollers mold gap must be increased to 4mm by adjusting the screw of the main machine, (factory standard gap 3mm). The machine can then begin to correct the heavily warped guardrails to return them to their original shape and then they will be corrected along with light warped (the gap must be restored to 3mm) guardrails-one time correction will be complete. If the implementation of repair methods based on the guardrail’s damage classification isn’t carried out, there will be a subsequent increase in equipment wear thus shortening the machine’s operational life.

Equipment Installation
In the installation of the system, the end section must have more than five meter distance between it and workers to ensure safety from the guardrails. After installing the device base (it is fixed by welded steel or concrete footing anchored to the floor by bolts), connect the power supply, add gear oil and after 5 minutes of no abnormal sounds (wires and gear oil should be purchased by buyer), repairs can be carried out.
