Hastelloy Nickel Alloy ASTM B366 C-276 BW Fitting Elbow Tee Reducer Cap are Available
Description
ALLOY C-276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy containing additional tungsten. ALLOY C-276 exhibits excellent resistance to a variety of chemical process environments, including ferric chloride and copper chloride, thermally contaminated organic and inorganic media, chlorine, jia acid and yi acid, seawater, brine and hypochlorite, and chlorine dioxide solutions. In addition, ALLOY C-276 resists the formation of grain boundary precipitates in the welding heat affected zone, making it useful for most chemical processes in the welded state. The alloy has excellent resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking and can oxidize atmospheres at temperatures up to 1040°C.
Design feature
• Excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance.
• Excellent resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking.
• Maintain corrosion resistance of welded joints.
