Titanium Pipe Fittings ASTM B363 WPT2 (Gr.2) Flanged Elbow for Sea Water Equipment
The B363 WPT2 /Gr.2 Flanged Elbow is a type of pipe fitting that is used to change the direction of flow in a piping system. It is made from B363 WPT2 Grade 2 titanium material, which is known for its excellent corrosion resistance and high strength.
The flanged elbow is designed with a flanged end on one side, which allows for easy and secure connection to other components in the piping system. The flange provides a stable connection, reducing the risk of leaks or failure.
The B363 WPT2 /Gr.2 Flanged Elbow is available in various sizes and angles, allowing for flexibility in system design and installation. It is commonly used in industries such as chemical processing, oil and gas, and power generation.
Description
ASTM B363 is a Standard Specification for Seamless and Welded Unalloyed Titanium and Titanium Alloy Welding Fittings. Titanium grade 2 fittings produced in accordance with the B363 are intended to be used for applications that require general corrosion resistance.
Titanium pipe fittings are known for their high strength, low weight and excellent corrosion resistance. Despite being as strong as steel, titanium is about 40 percent lighter. Its most useful property is its high tensile strength-to-density ratio. It is also very strong in resistance to water and chemical media.
Flanged Elbows (bends) allow airflow direction change in a line of dust collection ducting. Angle Flanges are attached loosely and retained via a vanstone lip. All Nordfab Elbows are available in 90°, 60°, 45°, and 30° bends.
Types of Flanged Elbows
According to the number of flanges connected to the elbow, flanged elbows have below two types:
1. Single Flanged Elbow
2. Double Flanged Elbow
