Buttweld ASTM B366 N04400 2.4360 Monel 400 Con.Reducer ANSI B16.9
ASTM B366 covers wrought welding fittings for pressure piping, factory-made from nickel and nickel alloys. Threaded fittings as covered in ASME B16.11 are also covered by this specification. The term welding applies to butt-welding or socket-welding parts such as 45 and 90° elbows, 180° bends, caps, tees, reducers, lap-joint stub ends, and other types, as covered by ASME B16.9, ASME B16.11, MSS SP-43, MSS SP-95, and MSS SP-97.
Monel 400 is cold worked, solution strengthened alloy. Cold working any alloy improves its surface smoothness and imparts dimensional stability to the Monel 400 Pipe Fittings, making the material more durable and long lasting. A high nickel alloy, the addition of significant content of copper imparts the alloy with superior resistance to sodium chloride solutions including brine and seawater.
Our Monel 400 Buttweld Fittings is resistant to caustic solvents, acids and alkaline, as well as seawater, has high robustness at high temperatures, and are wieldable too, used in many marine engineering applications.
We offer quality tested, certified UNS N04400 Monel 400 Pipe Fittings in nominal diameters and pressure ratings, which are reliable and join pipes conveying pipes conveying water and gas in the beverage and fire suppression industry.
