What is ASTM B564 UNS N08825 Nickel alloy steel flange?

UNS N08825 alloy belongs to Ni-Fe-Cr-Mo-Cu solid solution strengthened corrosion-resistant alloy, the alloy contains high Ni and Cr elements, and at the same time a certain amount of Mo, Cu elements and stabilized Ti elements are added, so it has a good resistance to pitting corrosion, intergranular corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, and it is usually applied to Petrochemical, hydrometallurgy, chemical energy and many other industrial environments, used for heat exchangers, pipelines and other heat exchangers dealing with hot sulfuric acid, chloride-containing solutions, sulfurous acid and so on.
