Duplex Steel Pipe Fittings Reducer Tee ASTM A815 UNS S31803 Pipe Branch Oil gas
Overwiew
ASTM A815 is the standard specification for forged ferritic, ferritic/austenitic and martensitic stainless steel pipe fittings.
UNS S31803 has a high chromium content, which gives the equal tee good corrosion resistance. It exhibits very high resistance to stress corrosion cracking even in chloride and sulfide environments. However, it will cause embrittlement at temperatures above 300°C.
In addition, UNS S31803 isotropic tee has good strength and elongation. At low temperatures, its notched ductility is better than that of ferritic and martensitic grades. Its working temperature is at least -50°C.Therefore, this stainless steel fitting is ideal for low-temperature applications.
