ASTM A182 F55, UNS S32760 Super Duplex Stainless Steel Weldolet MSS - SP97
What is F55 Stainless Steel?
Super Duplex Alloy UNS S32760 (F55 / 1.4501) has excellent resistance Pitting and Crevice Corrosion in seawater at elevated temperatures, supplied with a PREN 40<( Pitting Resistance Eqv) . Excellent resistance to SCC ( Stress Corrosion Cracking) in Sour and Chloride environments. F55 is a super duplex high-performance steel with a 50:50 two-phase austenite, ferrite microstructure. Super Duplex Stainless Steel offers the benefits of Duplex Stainless Steel with increased nickel, chromium, and molybdenum for excellent resistance to pitting corrosion.
