ASTM A335 GR.P9 Carbon Steel Studded Fin Tube For Heat Exchanger
Studded tube is mainly used in petrochemical and coal chemical industry for tubular heating furnace, convection heat exchanger, air preheater, chemical equipment, heat exchange equipment. To expand the heat transfer area of the light tube by 2 to 3 times, it can improve the heat transfer coefficient of the flue gas side, improve the comprehensive thermal efficiency of the equipment, and is an energy-saving heat transfer element. Its main function is to expand the heat transfer area of the tube and improve the thermal efficiency of the heating furnace.
A335 GR.P9 material is the U.S. standard production of high temperature with chromium-molybdenum alloy heat-resistant steel, because of its good oxidation resistance, high temperature strength and resistance to sulfide corrosion performance, widely used in petroleum refining devices high temperature, high pressure, flammable, explosive pipeline, especially the heating furnace direct heat pipe, the medium temperature up to 550 ~ 600 ℃.
Manufacturing process
1. Hot rolling (extruded seamless steel pipe): round pipe blank → heating → perforation → three roll oblique rolling, continuous rolling or extrusion → pipe detachment → sizing (or reduction) → cooling → straightening → water pressure test (or flaw detection) → marking → storage
2. Cold drawn (rolled) seamless steel pipe: round pipe blank → heating → perforation → heading → annealing → acid pickling → oil coating (copper plating) → multi pass cold drawing (cold rolling) → blank pipe → heat treatment → straightening → water pressure test (flaw detection) → marking → storage
