Heat exchanger U bend tubes which are made of Duplex Stainless Steel S32205 are ferritic and slightly austenitic in composition. It's perfect for use in highly corrosive settings. The chromium content in duplex stainless steel alloys is extremely high. Duplex stainless steel heat exchanger U tubes have a yield strength nearly two times that of typical austenitic stainless steels like grade 316 or 317, and improved resistance to oxidation corrosion.
UNS S32205 Duplex Stainless Steel Heat Exchange U Bend Tubes are ferritic and slightly austenitic grades alloy tubes and heat exchanger. It's ideal for utilizing in highly corrosive environments. This U tube is suitable for high-temperature application due to its higher thermal stability and high coefficient of thermal expansion. It's utilized in the cryogenic temperatures up to 300 degree C. It can be exposed to carbide precipitation environments in the severe reducing zone, having higher weldability attribute.
