ASTM A335 P5 P9 P11 Stud Tube + 409/410 Studs Fin Tube for Industry Application
Our automatic studding machines weld steel studs to tubes using resistance welding, resulting in strong forge welds. These machines can work with tube diameters between 60mm o/d and 219mm o/d, and use 12.7mm studs. The welding process accommodates different steel grades, such as carbon, alloy, stainless, and high nickel alloys. After studding, alloy steel pipes undergo stress relief in line with steel class and grade specifications.
YUHONG's engineers are always ready to assist you with design consideration s to meet your specific product needs.

The Reason You Choose Studded Tube:
1. Studded pipes offer heat exchange efficiency equivalent to 2-3 times that of bare pipes.
2. Studded pipes are easier to clean, especially in operational cases where very dirty flue gas is produced by burning heavy oil, diesel, or residual oil.
3. Studded pipes increase the film heat transfer coefficient of flue gas to furnace tubes, leading to higher efficiency in heat recovery and direct flame hostile atmospheres.
4. Studded pipes reduce the amount of bare pipes needed in these processes, as the heat transfer surface of one studded pipe is equivalent to the surface of 4 to 10 bare pipes. They are ideal for process applications that use dirty fuels and harsh environments in terms of temperature and/or corrosion.
