ASME SA213 TP304 Stainless Steel Seamless Tube 11-13 Cr Fin HF Welding Fin Tube for Cement Industry
HFW Solid Finned Tubes is an abbreviation for High Frequency Welded Spiral Solid Finned Tubes.
Spiral finned tubes offer designers a thermally efficient and compact solution for a wide range of heat exchangers using clean flue gases. Spiral finned tubes are available in both solid and serrated types.
Spiral solid finned tubes are manufactured by spirally wrapping continuous fins around the tube. High-frequency resistance welding is typically used at 400 kHz. The fins are wound around the tube and continuously welded. A strip of fins is spirally wound around the tube and continuously welded to the base tube along the root of the spiral. The fins are tensioned and laterally restrained as they are formed around the tube, thus ensuring strong contact between the fins and the surface of the base tube. Utilizing the gas metal arc welding process, the fin strips are continuously welded at the point where they begin to bend around the diameter of the tube.
For a given tube or pipe size, the required heat transfer surface area per unit length of tube can be obtained by specifying the appropriate fin height, fin thickness and/or number of fins per meter length.
