ASTM B622 Hastelloy C22 2.4602 Nickel Alloy Steel Tube for Oil & Gas Industry

Alloy C22 is a nickel, chromium and molybdenum superalloy reinforced with solid solution, with a nominal chemical composition of 56% nickel, 22% chromium and 13% molybdenum, with additions of iron, tungsten and cobalt. It is commonly referred to by the trade name HastelloyASTM B622 Hastelloy C22 N06022 2.4602 Nickel Alloy Seamless Tube 0 C22 and the universal designation UNS N06022.

Some areas of current or potential use of Hastelloy C22 ERW Pipes are acetic acid/acetic anhydride, chlorine sprinklers, cellophane production, etc. C22 alloy seamless pipes are formed by gas tungsten arcs, gas metal arcs and shielded metal arcs. C22 alloy welded tubes meet or exceed critical industry standards from ASTM, ASME, ISO and DIN families.

Corrosion and high temperature resistant alloys, such as C22 Alloy EFW Tubes, are stocked in several global service centers and are ready for immediate delivery.

Hastelloy C22 tube can be used in the welded condition due to its excellent weldability and resistance to the formation of boundary precipitates. Nickel- and cobalt-based alloys resistant to corrosion, temperature and abrasion, such as ERW Tubes' C22 alloy, are classified as moderate to difficult in machining.
