ASTM B166 Inconel 600 N06600 Nickel Alloy SMLS Pipe High Temperature
YUHONG supplies precision smooth bore Inconel 600 Pipe/ tubing for marine environments, brackish water, bleaching operations, closed loop water systems and some food processing applications.
N06600 seamless steel pipe is a nickel-based alloy seamless steel pipe with excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.
Its basic properties are as follows:
1. Corrosion resistance
N06600 seamless steel pipe has excellent corrosion resistance and can resist the erosion of various chemical media, such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid, acetic acid, etc. At the same time, a dense oxide film is formed on its surface, which can effectively prevent the corrosive medium from contacting the base material, thus extending the service life of the steel pipe.
2. Mechanical properties
N06600 seamless steel pipe has excellent mechanical properties, including high strength, high toughness, high hardness, etc. Its tensile strength, yield strength, elongation and other indicators are higher than ordinary steel pipes. It can withstand higher pressure and vibration and is not easy to deform and break. In addition, N06600 seamless steel pipe also has good wear resistance and fatigue resistance, and can withstand repeated stress cycles and fatigue loads.
3. Thermal performance
N06600 seamless steel pipe also has excellent thermal properties, with good thermal stability and oxidation resistance. In high-temperature environments, its mechanical properties and corrosion resistance can maintain a high level, and it is not prone to oxidation and aging. In addition, N06600 seamless steel pipe also has good thermal conductivity and can effectively transfer heat. It is suitable for various high-temperature pipes and furnace pipes.

Corrosion Resistance
The high chromium content of alloy 600 raises its oxidation resistance considerably above that of pure nickel, while its high nickel content provides good corrosion resistance under reducing conditions. This alloy exhibits high levels of resistance to stress and salt water, exhaust gases, and most organic acids and compounds.
Heat Treatment
Alloy 600 is not an age hardening alloy; cold working is the only available means of hardening. Softening by annealing begins at about 1600°F (871°C), and is reasonably complete after 10 to 15 minutes of heating at 1800°F (982°C). Above this temperature, grain growth may be objectionable, although very brief heating at 1900°F will cause complete softening without undue grain growth. Since the rate of cooling has no effect on the softening, the material may be water quenched or air cooled.
N06600 seamless pipe is a high-performance alloy pipe that is widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, aviation, aerospace and other fields for its excellent corrosion resistance, high temperature strength and good mechanical properties.
