Yuhong Special Steel has been engaged in seamless welded steel pipes of austenitic stainless steel and nickel alloy steel (Hastelloy, Monel, Inconel, Inconel) for more than 30 years, and sells steel pipes every year. Over 80,000 tons. Our customers cover more than 45 countries including Italy, UK, Germany, USA, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Poland, Singapore, Australia, France, etc.
Grade 316L is a low carbon version of 316 stainless steel. When cold worked, 316 produces high yield and tensile strengths similar to dual-phase grades.
It is commonly used in the chemical and petrochemical industries, food processing, pharmaceutical equipment, medical devices, drinking water, wastewater treatment, marine applications and construction applications near coasts or urban areas.
These seamless pipes are highly resistant to chloride corrosion, so 316L stainless steel pipes are resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion even in chloride-rich environments. Our stainless steel pipe 316L seamless products can be used in marine, marine applications, sea water purification systems and wastewater management applications. There are different pipe plans to accommodate different diameters and wall thicknesses. Stainless Steel Tube 316L Schedule 40 is a medium pressure vessel capacity, while Stainless Steel Tube 316L Schedule 10s has a relatively small wall thickness. Our 316L Seamless Pipe Schedule 40 pipe is one of the most commonly used pipes in the oil and gas industry. Our resistance welded SS 316L Erw tubes are stronger and last longer. The advantage of 316L welded pipe is that it is easy to weld with or without filler material. We also offer square tube 316L for extra strength in structural applications. Some of the quality tests carried out by our quality department includes:
Corrosion Test | Only when specifically requested by the customer |
Chemical Analysis | Conduct tests according to required quality standards |
Destructive / Mechanical Testing | Tensile | Hardness | Flattening | Flare | Flange |
Reverse-bend and Re. flat tests | Fully compliant with relevant standards and ASTM A-450 and A-530 specifications, ensuring trouble-free extension, welding and use on the client side |
Eddy Current Testing | Done to detect homogeneities in subsurface by using Digital Flaw-mark Testing System |
Hydrostatic Testing | 100% hydrostatic test, check pipe leaks according to ASTM A 450 specification, the maximum pressure we can support is 20Mpa/7s. |
Air Under Pressure Test | Check for any signs of air leakage |
Visual Inspection | After passivation, each tube is subjected to a thorough visual inspection by trained personnel to detect surface defects and other defects |
Supplementary Testing : In addition to the above tests, we also carry out supplementary tests on finished products. Tests carried out in this regard include:
