ASTM B111 UNS C12200 / CW024A Copper Alloy Seamless Condenser Tubing
Phosphorus-Deoxidized copper tubes (DHP) – C12200 has similar corrosion resistance to C11000. It gives excellent resistance to weathering and very good resistance to many chemicals. It is often used specifically for corrosion resistance, which extensively used in sugar refineries for condensers and evaporators. Deoxidized copper is the standard material for transferring heat from steam to water or air because of their excellent resistance to corrosion by fresh water and their high thermal conductivities.

Temper:
1.Copper tubes shall be furnisher in the temper designations identified in specification
2.Drawn tempers H55 and H80
3.Annealed temper O61
4.Drawn and stress-relieved temper HR50
5.Copper tubes for ferrule stock shall be annealed sufficiently to be fully recrystallized.
