A tee is a kind of pipe fitting and pipe connector with three openings, that is, one inlet and two outlets; or two inlets and one outlet, and used at the convergence of three identical or different pipelines. The main function of the tee is to change the direction of the fluid.
Carbon steel tee is also a kind of pipe fittings, generally, there are two kinds. That is, an equal tee, with the same diameter at three ends; a reducing tee, the branch pipe is different in diameter from the other two.
The butt welding tee is a tee made of steel by hot pressing or forging. Its connection form is to directly butt weld the tee and the steel pipe. The main manufacturing standards of the butt welding tee are generally GB/T12459, GB/T13401, ASME B16.9, SH3408, SH3409, HG/T21635, HG/T21631, SY/T0510.
Butt welding tees generally have equal diameter tees, reducing tees, etc. The materials are carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel.
We made butt weld tees by wrought materials in both seamless and welded construction. Welding the tee fittings to the pipe causes it to be leak-proof, adds strength, utilizes a small amount of space and minimizes the possibility of erosion and corrosion
