ASTM A312 Tp316l is a grade for tubular products. Yuhong is a large supplier of various ASTM A312 Tp316l pipe sizes. There are also ASTM A312 Tp316l equivalents on the market. But our ASME A312 Tp316l products are unique in that they can also be used in sub-zero temperatures. Our stainless steel tubes A312 Tp316l range from small to medium. We can also produce custom ASTM A312 Tp316l seamless pipes.
These seamless pipes are highly resistant to chloride corrosion, so 316l stainless steel pipes are resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion even in chloride-rich environments. Our stainless steel pipe 316l seamless products can be used in marine, marine applications, sea water purification systems, and wastewater management applications. Pipes have different schedules to accommodate different diameters and wall thicknesses. Stainless Steel Tube 316l Schedule 40 is a medium pressure range, while Stainless Steel Tube 316l Schedule 10s has a relatively small wall thickness. Our 316l seamless pipe Sch 40 pipe is one of the most commonly used pipes in the oil and gas industry. Our resistance welded SS 316l Erw tubes are stronger and last longer. The advantage of 316l welded pipe is that it is easy to weld with or without filler material. We also offer square tube 316l for extra strength in structural applications. Grade 316 is the standard molybdenum-containing grade, second only to 304 in importance in austenitic stainless steels. Compared to 304, molybdenum imparts better overall corrosion resistance to 316, especially higher resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments. It has excellent forming and welding characteristics. It is easily braked or rolled into various parts for use in industry, construction and transportation. Grade 316 also has excellent welding characteristics. Post-weld annealing is not required when welding thin sections.
Grade 316L, a low carbon version of 316, is not affected by sensitization (grain boundary carbide precipitation). Therefore, it is widely used for heavy-duty welded parts (about 6mm and more). The higher carbon grade 316H can be used at elevated temperatures, as is the stable grade 316Ti.
The austenitic structure also gives these grades excellent toughness, even at low temperatures
It is the steel of choice for use in marine environments because it is more resistant to pitting corrosion than other grades of steel. Its negligible response to magnetic fields means it can be used in applications that require non-magnetic metals. In addition to molybdenum, 316 contains many other elements in varying concentrations. Like other grades of stainless steel, marine grade stainless steel is a relatively poor conductor of heat and electricity compared to metals and other conductive materials.
