ASTM B111 C70600 Seamless Nickel Copper Alloy Tube For Heat Exchanger and Condenser
We are one of the largest stainless steel, duplex and alloy steel pipe manufacturers in China. After more than 30 years of development, we have accumulated a large number of customers all over the world, and Yuhong products have also won unanimous praise from customers.
ASME SB 111 SB 111 C70600 pipe, resistant to seawater corrosion, with high antifouling properties to marine microorganisms. Widely used in shipbuilding, petrochemical, natural gas and other offshore and related industries. C70600 Copper Nickel Pipe / Copper Nickel 90/10 Seamless Pipe has good corrosion resistance, especially in sea water.
UNS C70600 copper-nickel alloy is annealed at 593 to 816°C (1100 to 1500°F). UNS C70600 copper-nickel alloy has good cold workability. Suitable for high temperature service.
. UNS C70600 copper-nickel alloy is used in areas where stainless steel cannot be used due to chloride stress corrosion cracking (CSCC) and other parts where high corrosion resistance is required. These alloys are also used as machined and forged valve and pump components for seawater service. C70600 (90/10) copper-nickel alloy is highly resistant to seawater corrosion due to its high content of manganese and iron. Suitable for marine condensers, copper-nickel alloy Copper 90/10 and copper-nickel alloy Copper 70/30 are used in seawater condensation systems, heating and water supply, chemical industry, seawater desalination, etc.
.Copper alloys UNS C70600 and C71500 are standard specification seamless copper-nickel alloy pipes for desalination plants.
However, the C70600 and C71500 alloys are easily welded by the most common methods. Both alloys should be welded using consumables from Alloy C71500. When welding copper-nickel to steel, 65% nickel-copper consumables should be used because they can withstand more iron dilution from steel than C71500 copper-nickel consumables.

UNS C70600 copper-nickel alloy is primarily used in seawater service as forged and machined valve and pump assemblies, fittings and hardware. The alloy is also used in applications where high corrosion resistance and chloride stress corrosion cracking prevention measures prevent the use of stainless steel.
Copper-nickel alloys have excellent resistance to biofouling and marine corrosion, and have good machinability. When nickel is added, copper is stronger and more resistant to corrosion.
UNS C70600 is a copper-nickel alloy with excellent corrosion resistance even in marine environments. The alloy has average high strength and good creep resistance at elevated temperatures, at a higher cost than copper-aluminum alloys and other alloys with similar mechanical properties
