ASTM A179 Low Carbon Steel Seamless U Bend Tubes For Heat Exchangers And Boilers
ASTM A179 Carbon Steel Seamless Tube is made by the seamless process and is cold drawn. Heat and product analysis should be performed where in steel materials conform to required chemical compositions of carbon, manganese, phosphorus, and sulfur. The steel materials shall also undergo hardness test, flattening test, flaring test, flange test, and hydrostatic test. Due to ASTM A179 grade’s temperature withstanding capabilities, it is used to steel pipe of boliers, heat exchangers, condensers and other similar heat transfer equipments. ASTM A179 Carbon Steel Seamless Tubes are used in pumps and petrochemicals, cement and construction industries.
