The fired heater consists of several distinct zones: radiant, shield, and convection. The radiant zone is responsible for absorbing and emitting heat, while the shield zone protects sensitive components from high temperatures. Meanwhile, the convection zone improves heat transfer efficiency. Each zone plays a vital role in the overall heat transfer process.
The tubes in the radiant section of the heater are typically configured as U-shaped, S-shaped, straight, or J-shaped.
In addition, P2, P12, P22, P22L, P21, P21L, P5, P9 and P91 are alloy steels used for the rebuilding and modernisation of existing heaters and equipment. These materials are widely used in upgrading projects for boilers, heaters and other industrial equipment due to their excellent high temperature strength and corrosion resistance. By using these alloy steels, it is possible to improve the overall efficiency of the equipment, extend its service life, and ensure safety and reliability in high-temperature and high-pressure environments. Each material plays an important role in specific application scenarios, helping to meet the energy efficiency and equipment performance requirements of modern industry.
