ASME A179 Carbon Steel Fin Tube Wound-L Type
What are finned tubes used for?
Finned tubes are the main components of heat exchangers. They are a series of tubes where fins have been added on the outside to increase the contact area with the outside fluid, to exchange heat and between the fluid inside the tube and the fluid outside the tube. Finned tubes are elongated aluminium cladded carbon steel flat tubes with brazed aluminium fins.
Wrapped L-shaped carbon steel finned tube is a heat exchange device used in various industrial applications. Made of carbon steel. Consists of a bare tube with fins wrapped around it. The fins are usually made of the same material as the tube.
Advantages: Increases heat transfer surface area. Improves heat transfer efficiency. Allows for compact design. Cost-effective compared to other finned tubes.
This type of finned tube is widely used because it effectively enhances heat transfer while maintaining a relatively simple design. Specific features and dimensions may vary depending on manufacturer specifications and application requirements.
Fin material:
1.Carbon Steel
2.Stainless Steel
