Carbon Steel Flange Forged Bleed Ring Drip Ring Flush Ring A105
A bleed ring, also known as a drip ring or bleed flange, is a specialized component commonly used in piping systems to allow for the safe venting, draining, or sampling of process fluids. It is typically installed between flanges in a pipeline and has a small tapped hole to provide access to the contents of the pipe.Bleed rings also known as Drip rings are placed inside the circular bolts between flanges, mainly to drain or bleed of excess liquid via a valve, thus minimizing the effects of corrosion in steel pipes.Bleed rings can be supplied with threaded or socket-weld taps and for raised-faced or ring-type joint (RTJ) configuration, both male and female. All rings are made in accordance with B16.48.
