ASME U Stamp Heat Exchanger, API 660, Petrochemical and Oil Refinery Application
Yuhong Group already has more than 15 years experience for heat exchangers and heat exchanger parts, till now already more than 200 clients use Yuhong Group heat exchangers. Heat exchangers are devices designed to transfer heat between two or more fluids (liquids or gases) without mixing them. There are several types of heat exchangers, each suited for different applications based on efficiency, space, cost, and fluid properties.
Yuhong Group already has follow heat exchangers type experience :
1. Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger according to API 660
a. Structure: Consists of a shell (outer vessel) with a bundle of tubes inside.
b. Flow: One fluid flows through the tubes, while the other flows outside the tubes within the shell.
c. Applications: High-pressure and high-temperature applications (e.g., power plants, oil refineries).
d. U-tube: Tubes bent in a U-shape to allow thermal expansion.
e. Floating head: Allows for thermal expansion and easy cleaning.
2. Double Pipe (Hairpin) Heat Exchanger according to API 663.
a. Structure: Two concentric pipes; one fluid flows inside the inner pipe, the other in the annular space.
b. Applications: Low-capacity or high-temperature difference applications.
3. Finned Tube Heat Exchanger
a. Structure: Tubes with extended surfaces (fins) to increase heat transfer area.
b. Applications: Air-cooling systems (e.g., car radiators, AC condensers).
4. Air Cooled Heat Exchanger according to API 661
a. Structure: Uses fans to force air over finned tubes carrying hot fluid.
b. Applications: Used where water is scarce (e.g., refineries, power plants).
5. Spiral Heat Exchanger
a. Structure: Two spiral channels wound around a central core.
b. Advantages: Handles fouling fluids well, compact.
c. Applications: Waste heat recovery, sludge treatment.
