Type and specification of Angle steel

It is mainly divided into equilateral Angle steel and unequal Angle steel two categories, which unequal Angle steel can be divided into unequal thickness and unequal thickness two.

Angle steel specifications are indicated by the dimensions of side length and side thickness. At present, the specifications of domestic Angle steel are 2-20, with the centimeters of side length as the number, and the same Angle steel often has 2-7 different edge thickness. The actual size and edge thickness of import Angle steel shall be marked on both sides and the relevant standards shall be indicated. Generally, large Angle steel with side length above 12.5cm, medium Angle steel with side length between 12.5cm and 5cm, and small Angle steel with side length below 5cm.

Import and export Angle steel orders are generally based on the specifications required in use, and its steel number is the corresponding carbon bonded steel number. Angle steel in addition to the specification number, there is no specific composition and performance series.

The delivery length of Angle steel is divided into two kinds: fixed length and double length. The selection range of fixed length of domestic Angle steel is 3-9m, 4-12m, 4-19m and 6-19m according to the different specifications. The length of Angle steel made in Japan ranges from 6 to 15m.

The section height of unequal Angle steel is calculated by the length width of unequal Angle steel. Refers to steel with angular section and unequal length on both sides. It is a kind of Angle steel. The side length is 25mm×16mm·200mm× L25mm. It is rolled by hot rolling mill. General specifications of unequal Angle steel: ∟50*32--∟200*125 thickness of 4-18mm
