The difference between precision steel pipe and cold drawn pipe

1, cold drawing

Cold drawing, that is, in the case of metal pipe without heating with cold drawing machine drawing long, the advantage is not in high temperature, the disadvantage is larger residual stress, and can not be drawn too long cold drawing can improve toughness and tensile strength to get better mechanical properties. Cold drawing seamless steel tube process: round tube billet → heating → perforation → heading → annealing → pickling → multi-pass cold drawing → semi-finished pipe → heat treatment → straightening → water pressure test (flaw detection) → marking → storage.
