ASTM 304L Stainless Steel Welded Pipe Sanitary Piping Price Mirror

The 304 stainless steel pipe is a grade of metal that is highly resistant to corrosion, intergranular corrosion, and moderately aggressive organic acids. This is made possible because it is an 18/8 steel, which means it has been alloyed with 18 percent chromium and 8 percent nickel. In some cases, 304L steels show lower corrosion rates than 304 alloys. However, 304L, 304 and 304H show uniform performance when placed in environments that are corrosive. This metal is also resistant to oxidation when serviced in temperatures up to 1600 degrees F or continuous service at a temperature of 1690 degrees F.304L resists heat well. It shows to have greater carbide precipitation resistance compared to 304 alloys, allowing it to be serviced continuously at temperatures between 800 and 1580 degrees F.
