Cold Rolled Steel Coil Introduction

Cold rolling is a method in which a steel sheet is further thinned to a target thickness below a recrystallization temperature at room temperature. Compared with hot-rolled steel, cold-rolled steel is more accurate in thickness and has a smooth and beautiful surface.

Cold-rolled steel coils are widely used, such as automobile manufacturing, electrical products, rolling stock, aviation, precision instruments, food cans, etc. Cold rolled steel coil is an abbreviation for cold rolled steel thin coil of ordinary carbon structural steel.

Cold-rolled steel coils are hot-rolled steel strips made of ordinary carbon structural steel, which are further cold-rolled into steel coils with a thickness of less than 4mm. Because it is rolled at normal temperature, no oxide scale is produced. Therefore, the surface quality is good, and the dimensional accuracy is high.
