Product Description
Laminated glass is two or more panels of glass with one or more layers of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) sandwiched
between them and treated. If the glass is broken, fragments tend to adhere to the PVB inter layer thereby reducing
the risk injury from falling glass and helping to resist further impact or weather damage. The glass panels can be
basic float glass and tempered or heat strengthened. laminated glass is available in various combinations for
commercial glazing applications. This glass can feature high-performance coatings, silk-screened patterns, holes,
notches and edgeworks. It can be specified in different colors in order to meet a wide variety of design options as
well as various performance levels.
Advantages of Laminated Glass
1,Extremely high safety: The PVB interlayer withstands penetration from impact. Even if the glass cracks, splinters will
adhere to the interlayer and not scatter. In comparison with other kinds of glass, laminated glass has much higher
strength to resist shock, burglary, burst and bullets.
2,Energy-saving building materials: PVB interlayer impedes the transmission of solar heat and reduces cooling loads.
3,Sound control: PVB interlayer is an effective absorber of sound.
