Sand Maker Sand Production Process:
Vertical shaft impact crushing mechanism sand has been used in large hydropower projects since the mid-1990s. The production processes include dry, wet and semi-dry methods. However, no matter what kind of production process is used, there are some disadvantages such as large sand fineness modulus and small median diameter, which seriously affect the quality of concrete and its poor adaptability to various concrete ratio requirements.
Most of the domestic projects use the vertical shaft impact crusher as the main production equipment for sand making. The form of the crushing chamber is “stone stone” or “stone iron”, and its traditional production process adopts “feeding→crushing→sieving→returning”. (or into the warehouse)".
According to the production process of Figure 1, the stone material is sent to the vertical shaft crusher by the feeder and the belt conveyor. The diameter of the stone is less; the control of the particle size of the finished sand is difficult (man-made factor control); the finished sand rate is low.
