The Calcium Carbonate comes from limestone collected as waste material from existing quarries for building and construction industry. It is ground down to a fine powder like chalk, then combined with HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) to form a binder.

Stone Paper is a tough, durable paper that is water and tear resistant. It is soft, smooth and bright white, providing performance similar to a film, but without the petroleum.

Stone Paper does not use water or create any air pollution, and no chlorine or acids are used in the production process.
