Wire mesh decking is widely used in warehouses, as an accompaniment to rack, it can prevent goods falling off, and offer safety protection.The outside finish can be powder coated, galvanized, and also spray painted.

Types of Beams Determine Types of Channel Supports Required:

Typically, warehouse pallet rack layouts use two distinct pallet rack crossbeam types, which need for two distinct wire decking types: Roll-formed step beams and a teardrop-shaped pallet rack (with 1-5/8 “Step-style channels for wire mesh decking are the most common type and are the most common. Flared style channel supports are necessary for structural pallet rack since they have c-channel beams.

The 42″ deep x 46″ wide wire decking with step-style channel supports that accommodate a 1-5/8” pipe is the most common wire deck on the market. Although it may be mounted on most pallet rack beams, the wire deck with flared channel supports is most suited for structural c-channel crossbeam types. It has a distinctive ribbed design.

We even provide a wire deck that complies with FDA regulations for the food and beverage industry by having either an inverted step channel or an inverted flared channel. Food scraps and other garbage can’t accumulate inside the channels because of the reversed channels.
