Oilfield Non-Rotating Type Casing Float Shoe
Float shoe is the most common tool in solid control cementing operation. Float shoe controls the top of cement through the replacement fluid in the drill pipe, minimizing the drilling of cement in large casing. Traditional replacement operation requires calculation of excessive cement coefficient, while in this cementing scheme, cement does not need to be larger than the volume of drill pipe. Cementing can be completed without large plugs.
