Stable Transmission Turbocharger Rotor Assembly , Generator Rotor Assembly
Turbocharger consists of a compressor wheel and exhaust gas turbine wheel coupled together by a solid shaft and that is used to boost the intake air pressure of an internal combustion engine. The exhaust gas turbine extracts energy from the exhaust gas and uses it to drive the compressor and overcome friction. In most automotive-type applications, both the compressor and turbine wheel are of the radial flow type. Some applications, such as medium- and low- speed diesel engines, can use an axial flow turbine wheel instead of a radial flow turbine.
Turbocharger design features:
bladed shaft belongs to the turbocharger. The turbocharger is for large medium-speed diesel and gas engines, with a power output range from2,500kW to 12,500kW.
Turbine: The turbocharger is axial turbine for high efficiencies and high volume flow rates.
Compressor: The compressors ensure the high volume flow rates which allow optimized matching to different engine applications. Its single-piece, splitter-bladed aluminum alloy wheels with backswept blades ensure high efficiencies and wide compressor maps. its pressure ratio is from 4.2 up to 5.0 based on different design.
Bearing: The bearing assembly lubricated directly by the engine lube oil system, plain bearings can run up to 36,000 hours before being overhauled.

Brief introduction of Marine turbocharger:
The marine turbocharger, also known as exhaust gas turbocharger, is the main equipment in the diesel engine boosting system. It consists of a single-stage exhaust gas turbine and a centrifugal compressor. They are mounted on the same shaft to form the moving part of the marine turbocharger/exhaust gas turbocharger - the rotor. The function of the marine turbocharger/exhaust gas turbocharger is to use the diesel exhaust energy to drive the turbine to drive the compressor on the coaxial to increase the air pressure into the cylinder, so that the diesel engine power is greatly improved. The exhaust turbocharger approximately doubles the power of the diesel engine, but its weight is only increased 10%.
