What is Air Suspension?
Air suspension is a suspension with an air spring as an elastic element, and its obvious feature is the airbag type air sping. That is the general term for the connection device between the body and the wheel, which is composed of a shock absorber, a guide mechanism and an elastic element.
What is the Benefit of Air Suspension?
No. | Benefit |
1 | Light weight, the air suspension is much lighter than the traditional leaf spring suspension. |
2 | The air suspension can be lifted. The car can be lifted by the air suspension, which is beneficial to reduce the wear of the tires. |
3 | The vehicle is more stable during driving, reducing vibration and increasing comfort. |
Domestic use of air suspension has accumulated rich practical experience. With the development of technology, air suspension has become an indispensable standard for high-end heavy trucks and special vehicles
How Air Suspension Works?
When the rubber safety air spring air spring works, the inner cavity is filled with compressed air to form a compressed air column. As the vibration load increases, the height of the spring decreases, the volume of the inner cavity decreases, the stiffness of the spring increases, and the effective bearing area of the air column in the inner cavity increases.
At this time, the load-bearing capacity of the spring increases. When the vibration load is reduced, the height of the spring increases, the volume of the inner cavity increases, the stiffness of the spring decreases, the effective bearing area of the inner air column decreases, and the bearing capacity of the spring decreases. Therefore, as the vibration load increases and decreases, the height, volume and bearing capacity of the rubber ball can be controlled smoothly and flexibly. The stiffness and load-carrying capacity of the spring can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the amount of inflation. Auxiliary air chambers can also be installed for automatic adjustment.
Rubber Safety Air Springs Air springs work by injecting a mixture of inert gas or oil into a sealed pressure cylinder. and gas, so the pressure inside the chamber is several or more times the atmospheric pressure. The movement of the piston rod is achieved by utilizing the differential pressure caused by the cross-sectional area of the piston rod being smaller than the cross-sectional area of the piston.
