3. Typical applications
The periodic variation of the high power rolling mill load can lead to severe fluctuation of voltage, especially when multiple rolling
mills run at the same time. The randomness of the rolling mill is increased, and the long period flicker is more serious. The traditional
compensation device cannot improve the power factor, because it cannot follow the load change, which even increased the voltage
fluctuations.
In power system with the above load, the active dynamic reactive power compensation device with fast compensation function and
filter function is required to manage the power quality and reduce the interference and pollution of the power grid.
Various dynamic compensation methods have their advantages and disadvantages. The active dynamic reactive power compensation
